Buying Custom Made Golf Clubs?

Are you considering buying custom made golf clubs?  I’ve done this a couple of times now. Some words of advise, based on my experience. Choose a custom club vendor or builder with a proven track record. If you have your swing analyzed.

Don’t accept the results printed out by a computer as gospel. Find a club from your builder that has a shaft with the same  specs. you’ve been given by a computer. Hit some balls. During both your swing analysis and the trial, swing the way you’re going to swing on the course. Play with shafts until you find the one which works.

The shaft is the key. Make sure you hit both irons and driver to choose shafts and grips. When choosing custom club heads for driver, fairway metals and irons choose a club that is pleasant to your eye. If it looks good to you and you alone it will build confidence. Before you pay and take possession of your new custom made clubs hit some balls. Be totally happy with your choice and results. Take them to the course and have FUN.
